It's been five years since bassist Gerald
Veasley released a studio CD of his particular brand of
sultry soul-jazz. He's back with a ten track disc entitled
Your Move that's sure to satisfy his
loyal fans. They'll get a chance to hear the new CD in
its entirety on Saturday, March 8th. At 7 PM, WJJZ 97.5
will present the recording exclusively in a World Premiere
radio broadcast. The broadcast can also be heard online
at 975WJJZ.com.
"Your Move" is
released worldwide on March 11th.

Super Band
An ecletic grouping with guests such as Chieli Minucci, Bob
Baldwin, Joe McBride and Kenny Blake. A swinging band that lit up
the night at the Rehoboth Jazz Festival. |
Teacher/Lecturer/Clinician -
Education
A teacher at The University of the Arts, Gerald is also an elected
trustee of NARAS. He conducts an annual "Bass BootCamp" and has
been guest instructor/clinician at venues such as Duquesne
University and Victor Wooten's Nature Camp. |
